Join Family Bicycles’ monthly free Bicycle Maintenance 101 workshop. The 2nd Saturday of each month Family Bicycles presents an interactive Bicycle Maintenance Workshop. Bring your bicycle and your questions. We choose one or two bicycles from the attendees to use as a demonstration of how to change a tire, make small derailleur and brake adjustments, how to clean and lube your chain and other topics. Class - Urban Cycling Workshop

The ride leaves at 6:30 p.m. from the Brookside parking lot on the north side of 63rd Street, just east of Brookside Blvd. At 6:35, there is an 8 mile at 8 mph ride for beginners that starts with a quick lesson on group riding and riding in traffic. Leaving at 6:30, are 14 mile and 16 mile routes at a moderate pace, 10-15 mph.
