Ozone Alert for Wednesday

The detailed route for the Tour of Missouri’s stage races will be announced at news conferences across the state. The KC announcement will be at the 810 Zone sports bar on the Country Club Plaza. 810 Zone 4686 Broadway, Kansas City, MO 64111 47th and Broadway/Wornall – above the Potter Barn.

An Orange Ozone Alert has been issued for Wednesday, which means the air quality will be bad enough to affect children as well as adults with respiratory or cardiovascular problems.  Healthy folks might also notice some effects. Trail Closure Today

The Star reports that the Johnson County’s Mill Creek Streamway trail is closed today at College Boulevard for bridge construction.  It is hoped to re-open tomorrow.

Critical Mass

Meet up at 6:00 p.m. and ride at 6:30 p.m. Location: The parking lot at Marsh’s Sunfresh grocery store in Westport, 4001 Mill Street 64111. KC’s Critical Mass is up to around 100 bicyclists this summer.  Come join your fellow riders on this fun and easy-going ride through the city.
